1930s French Fireman Statue
French Fireman statue from the 1930s. This firefighter or fireman sculpture was also made as a trophy statue. This French fireman in action is standing in the flames with his fire hose to extinguish the fire. This firefighter sculpture is made from cold painted spelter and is mounted on a wooden base. Wooden base was missing so has been replaced. It dates from the period 1910 – 1930s. These statues or trophies were given for manoeuver competitions or as gifts for retirement. It’s a great decoration object or collectable item for an erstwhile firefighter, fireman.
