Antique Cacao Tin Bensdorp

Antique Dutch cacao tin. This antique lithographic tin was made for Prima Bensdorp Cacao Amstel Amsterdam and dates circa 1890-1910. It’s a rectangular tin with beautiful litho scenes: cocoa plantation with pickers filling the baskets with cocoa beans, a cook in chef’s clothes or a pastry chef using cacao in a dish. Also lots of flowers and beautiful birds around. A store tin with beautiful shaped handle – button. This antique tin was made by Wed. J. Bekkers en zoon – Dordrecht. – Holland. For the age of more then 100 years, it’s still in beautiful condition.
It does have traces by time; the colors on top of the lid are little faded and the seam on the lid is a little released on one corner. Further in beautiful condition without any holes.
