Bauhaus Style Green Bakelite Desk Lamp, Art Deco

Art Deco Green Bakelite Desk Lamp. This Bauhaus Style Lamp dates late 1920s. The base is made from nickel plated brass with green details and also a green bakelite shade. This antique desk lamp is adjustable as the shade can be turned in different positions. On the base there is a button to switch the light on and off, but you can also use the swith on the new wiring as the outside wiring has been replaced. The bakelite is still strong, only under the nickel ( which you only see if you would take the shade off ) there are marks as in the old days the bulbs became very warm, now we use led. This desk light needs a E27 bulb.
