Lenci Style Doll, 1930s

Antique doll in the style of Lenci dolls. This vintage doll dates circa 1930s. It’s a cute doll with blond curled mohair hair, dressed in a beautiful cotton dress with flowers and a pink felt swivel head and stole. Under she’s wearing white underlayment and underwear. She has beautiful painted eyes with a white spot on the side, a little nose with red spots and a little red mouth which is typical for a Lency doll. Her body is made from paper maché and is half covered with felt; also the legs and arms are covered with felt over plaster. The hips and shoulders are jointed to the body. Who does not fall in love with this beauty. This Lenci Italy doll, Lenci style doll is also in the style of Chad Valley, Madame Alexander and Norah Wellings dolls.
