Vintage Carousel Frog Sculpture

Vintage carousel frog sculpture in the style of Herschell-Spillman from the Golden Age American Carousel. A cute looking animal children’s fairground seat – frog seat which was used circa 1970 – 1980. This frog sculpture is wearing human clothes, like shorts and a jacket without sleeves and also a red bow around his neck. He has a beautiful aged patina in the meantime. It’s a full wooden jumping frog animal on two iron supports. One of the supports is also the footrest. A wooden base is placed under to stand stable, but this base is only for decorative purpose. If you use it for children, you could make an extra longer base under for the balance. It’s a great decorative object for someone who loves carnival art or for someone who collects frogs. For children’s photography he’s also great.
