Large Enamel Sign Mauxion Chocolat, 1920s

1920s large enamel advertising sign for Mauxion Chocolat Products. This antique porcelain sign was designed by Wilhelm Defke for the German company Mauxion which was founded in 1855 in Berlin Germany. This large version dates circa 1925. It has a cobalt blue background with a cute delivery boy wearing the Mauxion outfit, holding 2 baskets with Mauxion chocolat products like cacao, chocolat bars, chocolat milk etc … A sign with an age of almost 100 years !  It does have traces all around the global edge , but the boy with his baskets are still ok. The sign is still solid and does not fold.
